Roy and Electra

are married.

Website Under Construction!

Sooner or later, there will be a gallery on this site with many awesome pictures!
For now, we are married, and we are busy.

General Thanks!

If you attended our wedding or sent a gift or thought some good thoughts about us, we thank you each day! We will be sending out official, physical, and specific "Thank You" cards once we're back from our Honeymoon in Japan! (We leave August 28th!)
But for now, all of you who were involved in anyway can consider yourself Thanked for being amazing.
Our wedding and reception were incredible events. We are truly blessed for our marriage to be recognized by a community of people we love. Thank you for being a part of that day, whether you attended or just sent goodwill!
Thank you!

Special Thanks!

Thank you Erin Morgit Dajka for officiating our wedding. The ceremony was perfect. We are so blessed to have a friend who is so divine, and who is officially recognized as such by the UU congregation of Rockford, IL and (therefore) by Multnomah Co., Oregon.
Thank you Rachel Kirley, the woman of many resources and abilities. Sneaking around "backstage" and being generally unacknowledged and unknown by the general public, you organized, facilitated, and served. You and the people you directed were invaluable for the events proceeding so smoothly. Not once did the Bride need to morph into Bridezilla, as has historically and stereotypically happened at other weddings.
Rachel, may the wedding of you and Joe go as (or more) perfectly as ours did, and may you be blessed with people as (or more) helpful as you were to us.
Thank you Ed Stanford, Cali Saldaņa, Jesse Whipple, and Kat Halpenny. We should have broken tradition to have more than one official Honored Person per side. You are so awesome. Thank you for supporting us and for facilitating events.
Thank you Joe, Brian and Alison for working so hard during our reception. It went as smooth as the silk of Electra's wedding dress thanks to you.
Thank you Molly for being my liaison to the musicians. Sometimes "middle men" are necessary, and you performed that role beautifully.
Thanks to our Wedding Party, their S.O.s, and our numerous friends in Portland, who also helped out throughout the event.
Thanks to our parents for getting along so harmoniously with each other and everyone they encountered.

Thanks for the performers!

Thank you Michael Beach and Daniel Eshoo for performing the wedding march (zeffah) and Electra's procession. Its too bad the reed went out, but the drumming was awesome, and drums are all Electra cares about anyway.
Thank you Nicole Daddona a.k.a. Severina for performing your lovely Tribaret at our reception! You were stunningly beautiful! We are so blessed to know you, and blessed to get to know you in time to ask you to be a part of our special event. We look forward to dancing with you (or watching your performances, in Roy's case) many times in the future.
Thank you Evan Torner for DJing the event. You are a generous and patient friend with good taste in music. Rawk awn!
